It is what it is... Great Idea, however it should have come WITH the gauge.

I got this along with my tire gauge and it did fit on without taking the gauge apart, just like one of the previous reviewers said. The mold release compound on the rubber (the white dust you can see in the picture) was ugly, so I gave it a spritz of 303 Protectant (I'm sure Armor All would work, too) and it transformed into a piece of equipment that looks like it belongs in a better garage than mine ...
Keeping it Safe (2009-05-21)
You need a good tire pressure gauge, right? Then keep it safe from being broken. This rubber sleeve goes around the gauge and protects it from be dropped or knocked around. If you buy the Moroso gauge, then fork out a few bucks and buy this protective rubber cover for it too! You'll be glad you did!!

I like the protective aspect of this rubber cover, as well as the cool blue color and good grip it gives you!
MOROSO TIRE GAUGE COVER (2008-12-01)
In my opinion, this is a must. If one is spending a premium amount for a fine delicate instrument (Moroso Tire gauge)then it makes sense in my book to protect that investment by purchasing a rubber cover. In case of an accidental knock, which can easily happen, you'll be happy that for a few dollars, your instrument in most cases, depending on the severity of the knock,will still function-plus it is easy to install.
